Strelka
As we told you in May, OMA + AMO will collaborate with Strelka, a postgraduate school for media, architecture and design in Moscow.
Now, the presentation of this very special partnership will take place at the Architecture Biennale 2010 in Venice on August 26th between 2:30 and 3:45 pm.

The invitation reads as follow: “In Venice, during the Architecture Biennale, Rem Koolhaas together with Strelka founders Alexander Mamut and Ilya Oskolkov-Tsentsiper will introduce Strelka to the global audience. Also Reinier de Graaf (partner, OMA and director of AMO) and Michael Schindhelm (cultural advisor and writer), both co-authors of Strelka’s educational programme, will join the discussion.”
The idea behind this project is to elevate Russia’s current role in the world with the help of young talent.
